~Hey dear!!! What's the matter??? Is everything alright??? Why so sombre??? DO you wanna talk??? You can talk to me, right???

 ~Sure we can talk, why on earth can't we???
No, no, leave it, you know you too should stay away from me. I am such a bad vibe, all I have is a bad aura around me and you too can get infected. So just stay away from me. You know every time I try to fix smiles and laughters on every face, every time I try to fill lives with delight because I know there is so much chaos in every heart and all want and deserve to be happy. That is all I want for every soul but everything just ends abruptly and awkwardly. I am not good for being a friend to anybody. I don't deserve to be around people, I simply belong to my loneliness, I really should learn to embrace my own self at my own planet of lonesome lake and gloomy sky. Why should I come out of all this, just to ruin the share of happiness all deserve???
You know I had all these plans to change the world, to shine every morning for all to make happy, to replace all the saddening faces by giggles, laughters, teasings and smiles, but every time I try and I literally end up messing things and lives, always.
At that instant, I can only feel that all I do seems so small....so pointless. I often feel nothing I do, matters, so why try???

 ~No sweety, to think of others' happiness, keeping aside your own set of priorities is a great job in itself. At least you try, when others are totally indulged into themselves and their own pair of priorities. Remember that, everything you do, matters, a lot, every moment, every decision you make, it affects the people around you, look through my eyes, people count on you for every tiny thing, it, it changes the world in a million imperceptible ways. No matter what, you would do it better in reality, we both can, together.

 ~You surely have answers to all my bafflements, don't you???

 ~Well, of course I have because  I cannot see such an ugly, sad, fallen face around me, after all it affects my beauty. Haahh!!!! Jokes apart, You look fabulous with your radiant smile. So keep shining up to make all faces shine.
By the way, what are friends for???

Twenty days of Ramadan… gone. I blinked and suddenly we’re here. The third Friday of Ramadan. When the month began, I had a clear picture in my head of what my Ramadan would look like. I had goals... real goals. I was going to wake up regularly for Tahajjud, read the Qur'an slowly with reflection, make long thoughtful duas, and keep distractions away as much as possible. I imagined a calm Ramadan where my days felt intentional and my nights felt deeply connected to Allah. I thought Ramadan would slow life down. Instead, life kept running and I kept trying to catch my breath. Work kept moving. Responsibilities stayed exactly where they were. Sleep schedules became unpredictable. Some days felt like a blur between suhoor, work, iftar, son's exams and trying to gather enough energy to make it through the next day. I kept telling myself I would slow down tomorrow.
